A little about me and My hobby of Wood Working.

I started out doing woodworking As a sophmore in High School that was in 1991.

My first project was a set of snack trays. There is a funny story about the snack trays

From there I made a small cherry bookcase and a blanket chest. Finally in my senior year of high school I
made one of the biggest projects that I have ever made. An oak rolltop computer desk.

After high school I had messed around with making a few odds and ends projects some small shelves and a
larger a much project my gun cabinet. I also started a curio cabinet that took me a few years to
finish ( lost interest in the project )

I had decided that when we moved into our house I was going to make our end tables,coffee table and our bedroom furniture.
I made the end tables and coffee table for our living room in 2002 and also made our nightstands that year.

I have now gone through and made our headboard and both of our dressers. The first dresser has 9 drawers and is 72" long. The second dresser has 5 drawers and is 60" tall

After my grandfather passed away in feb 2003 I received his lathe and played around making my first bowl Its not good but its a piece that I can not part with just to be able to compare where I am now to where I started at. now I am hooked on wood turning now it seems everything should be round

I have just started making pens
